Shopping close to Akasha
Within an 8-minute drive are several places to shop. JQ mall, in Rodney
Bay, offers a variety of items. You'll find groceries, duty free shops,
a medical center, pharmacy, gift shops etc.
Baywalk, the new larger mall in Rodney Bay, is a modern and lively place
to shop not only for duty free items, but also everyday shopping and has
even more exciting restaurants. All that you need is close by.
There are duty free shops in Rodney Bay but if you're looking for more
luxurious brands then head to Castries, the Capital, about a 15 minute
drive away. In Castries you will find Pointe Seraphine and La Place
Carenage, both have world class brands and are geared for the serious
shoppers.
You can also find very good shops in the newly opened Blue Coral mall in
the heart of Castries.
If you want to see and purchase some original art then visit the gallery
in the marina where Llewellyn Xavier, St. Lucia’s premier artist,
displays and sells his art. There's also a gallery on the way into
Castries where you will find artwork from local painters – please ask us
